Alison and her daughter moved to Audubon in 2009 when her daughter was 6 months old. For years they were known as the only Jews of Audubon but there is more diversity in Audubon nowadays. Alison is a single mom by choice and a criminal defense attorney. She works as a public defender in Philadelphia.
Alison is originally from the Catskill Mountains in upstate New York. She received her Bachelors in Criminal Justice and Sociology from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ and her juris doctorate from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA.
Alison has lived in rural, urban, and suburban areas and greatly enjoys the sense of community and small town closeness of Audubon.
Alison's preferred pronouns are she/her and they/them.
